Talk about a friendly and delicious restaurant! The new owners are delightful and offer fresh, made on premises pizzas, bar-b-que (Carolina style, North and South plus Virginia), meatball subs and their best seller, banana pudding.

The slow cooked 18hr. Smoked BBQ is really good. Great owner operator location. Pick up some sandwiches to go or buy a pound to take Home. The pizza looks really great as well, different varieties available by the slice or a whole pie.

Great little spot with amazing barbecue. Archie was super cool and will definitely go again if I'm out here.

Best bang for your buck for pizza at the River! The pizza was fantastic and had generous toppings. Order early as the wait can get long but worth it. Our pizza could have been cooked another minute to make it a little crispier of a crust but the flavor was great and tasted like fresh ingredients. Definitely will be our place to get pizza from here on out. (Photo is 2 slices of the 18 inch pie. Pepperoni & sausage was about 25 and it is a huge pie)

We are working on a project nearby. Stopped in for the first time for a take out pizza. This is more of a take out rather than a sit down place. They have a four top and a two top for tables. The owner served us and she was very nice. We weren't sure what to get. She didn't rush us and provided helpful suggestions. We got the BBQ pizza to go. You can get it with bacon and other toppings. We went for the basic pizza and it was delicious. Whenever we are in the area, this will be our go to place.

Our initial visit is what I'm basing this review on. I will update as we go. The service and people are a pleasure to give our business to. I love New York style pizza and crust. I ordered a half pepperoni and half specialty XL pizza. The crust was done well with the right amount of crisp without being burned. The toppings the use are very good and give that subtle bite with a touch of sweetness in the sauce, mozzarella that I can tell is a quality above major brand franchise locations. The pepperoni was there with every bite and good quality for someone who appreciates real pepperoni. The onions, mushrooms, and sausage half was equally well done. I stopped on a whim with 3 kids in the truck and it was made and fired within 15 minutes. I will be returning and taking advantage of their newer delivery availability. I will post pictures of our next pizza. Highly recommend as the best pizza within at least a 20 mile radius (I've tried them all at this point)

Such an amazing place! The owner’s truly care. Cute little place with BIG flavors! Hands down some of the absolute best pizza and bbq I’ve had. Then combine them for the 100% best BBQ pizza!! And definitely NOT last, the wings. Cooked to perfection with delicious sauces to choose from. Everything is homemade and the difference is obvious. Can’t wait to get back there for more.

My BFF and I go on "adventure days". We head out with no destination in mind. Today we ended up at Pig & Pie. It just popped up on us and we made a split second decision to stop. So glad we did! We split a steak & cheese, and it was honestly one of the best steak & cheese I've ever had. The bread was fresh with just a bit of crunch. The meat was perfectly cooked and generous portions. We just had mayo and cheese on ours. I went a bit out of the box and put some of their Carolina vinegar sauce on it, and I loved the extra bit of flavor. We each grabbed a cookie, then sat outside to eat (there is just one table inside, more seating outside). The owner was super friendly and chatted with us while we waited. Quite a few people stopped in while we were there. This place may sneak up on you, but its obviously a well known spot for the locals. I'll be taking a road trip out that way again so my husband can try it!
